About the Shecanic Foundation
Founded by Patrice Banks, the SheCANic Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and empowering women through car care education, community, and hands-on training.
Our mission is to break barriers in the auto industry by providing free car care workshops, scholarships, and hands-on training, ensuring that every woman has the knowledge, confidence, and resources to take control of her vehicle and her future.
Through donor-funded initiatives, we create opportunities for economic independence, job readiness, and community support, making the automotive world more inclusive, accessible, and equitable for all.
